Kamaole Sands

Kamaole Sands is at the extreme southern end of Kihei, just before the planned resort community of Wailea. It sits opposite Kamaole III beach, one of the most popular beaches in Kihei because of its expansive grassy play area, playground, shady trees, and beautiful beach. The resort is one of Kihei's largest, with ten concrete buildings located around a beautiful tropical park with ponds, fountains, meandering walkways, and a swimming pool complex with two spas, cascading waterways, activity desk, and cybercafe. All units in Buildings 1,2,3,5,6,7 and 10 look out on this tropical park. The outer buildings experience some traffic noise, although Building 4 has the redeeming quality of having nice ocean views. Buildings 8 and 9 are the least desirable from our point of view. Kam Sands has four well-maintained tennis courts. The architecturally interesting four-story buildings have concrete walls and floors, with concrete tile roofs. Most units are air-conditioned and all have ceiling fans.
