Policies

  • We generally rent to adults only as we only have step-in showers.  As our unit is on the third floor, a young child left unattended on the lanai may climb onto the furniture and lean over the railing. We do not want an accident to happen! 
  • OUR CONDO AND ITS LANAI IS A SMOKE-FREE ZONE.   Guests who smoke in the unit or on the lanai will be subject to a minimum $250 deep cleaning fee.  Smoking is allowed at designated smoking benches around the periphery of the property.
  • Free broadband internet access (dependable ethernet cable).  Bring along your laptop and save up to $9.95 per day.
  • Free resort registration.  The mandatory Kamaole Sands AOAO resort registration fee is paid for you!  Perks include daily complimentary Maui News, a copy of the Maui magazine, a complimentary 30-minute internet access card, and invitation to the Wednesday Mai Tai party.
  • Free local calls.
  • Elevator available.
  • Booking subject to management company confirmation.
  • We have the capability of offering credit card or debit card charging (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) through our boutique, The Last Resort. 
  • Deposit of $300 required within two weeks of confirmation; balance due four weeks before arrival
  • First time bookings subject to a $300 security deposit in the event there are any damages or extraordinary departure cleaning expenses.  Your security deposit will be mailed back within ten days of checkout and verification of the condition the unit is left in.  Security deposit waived for credit card payments.
  • $89 for required end-of-stay housekeeping cleaning will be added to the invoice.
  • Daily maid service is not provided nor recommended.  
  • Minimum five night stay; minimum seven night stay during Thanksgiving week and minimum three-week stay during Christmas
  • No pets allowed.  Geckos and birds provided free of charge--outside of course!
  • Rate subject to change without notice.  (Once a booking is confirmed, the rate is locked in.)
  • For stays longer than seven days, the weekly rate is prorated.  The discount for stays longer than one month is 10 percent.  Our discounted rates are not negotiable.   
  • All communications, invoices, and information sheets will be sent electronically.  If you wish hard copies, please notify us.
  • The usual check-out time is set by our management company at 11:00 am.  If you wish a late departure, the charge is one-half day's rent (if available).  
  • Read our management company's Terms of Rental Agreement.
  • Maui Electric Company charges us 30-40 cents per kilowatt hour.  Please, please do your part to conserve energy.  Turn off all lights and air conditioning (if used) when leaving the unit.  Our July 2008 electric bill was $521!  That's $17 per day!
